Cal.com Setup Guide

Get your API Key
  1. Go to app.cal.com and sign in
  2. Click your avatar (top-right) → Settings
  3. In the left sidebar: Developer → API Keys
  4. Click Add, name it "ExpoCall", then press Create
  5. Copy the key — it starts with cal_live_...
⚠ The key is only shown once. Copy it before closing the dialog.

Get your Event Type ID
  1. Click Event Types in the Cal.com sidebar
  2. Find or create the event type for ExpoCall bookings
    Tip: a 30-minute "Discovery Call" works well
  3. Click the ⋮ menu next to it → Edit
  4. Look at the URL in your browser — it looks like:
    app.cal.com/event-types/1234567/edit The highlighted number is your Event Type ID

Recommended Cal.com settings
  • Set your availability to match when you want meetings booked
  • Add a 15-min buffer between meetings to avoid back-to-backs
  • Set minimum notice to at least 1 hour
  • Make sure email confirmations are enabled so attendees get the invite
